Peek-a-Boo!

I see you!

It is SO hard to hold in the giggles...

when Maggie's prayers are something like this:

Thursday Night

(Thank you, Jesus) "for Maggie, for Daddy, for bunny rabbits."

Tonight

(Thank you, Jesus) "for Jesus love me, for fan, for curtains, for sound machine.  I need it."

Too cute!

A Weekend of Celebrating Love

Our Valentine affairs started Thursday evening.  The girls went to Nana and Pal's house to spend the night (which is such a treat for everyone involved).  Matt and I had a fun dinner downtown and then saw "Wicked" at the Peace Center!  It was amazing!  Every time I see a broadway musical, I want to rewind my life and pursue a career in music/acting/theater.  Anybody else feel that way?  Anyway, I had such a great time out on the town with my favorite, handsome Valentine!  We didn't get any pictures all dressed up, but we did take a picture of ourselves debeautified.
Please disregard the extremely tired looking eyes!

Friday and Saturday, Maggie, Kerri Grace, and I prepared for the shower we were giving my sweet sister-in-law, Kerri and her fiance, Brian.  Here is Maggie making her own special something (pretzels, water, & goldfish combination...classic shower food):

Then, Saturday night, we had the wedding shower.  Kerri looked gorgeous and Brian looked extremely happy to have her for his Valentine.

Hot Seat

My friend Anne nominated me to take the hot seat and here are the rules:

1) Post the above picture to your post

2) Share 5 things about yourself (silly, inspiring, super honest)

3) Nominate another blogger friend.

Here are my 5 things:

1) I LOVE being a mommy.  However, I do admit that I often think about (daydream about) many part-time job positions that I would like to try out.  I say part-time because I do not want to be away from my girls as much as a full-time job would require me to be.  Should I say, I want my cake and to eat it, too. =)

2) I think that Matt is AWESOME!  I know, I know...that isn't really anything new.  Sometimes I can't figure out how I snagged him....thankful I did!

3) Before I became a parent, I was pretty adventurous.  I have enjoyed roller coasters, parasailing, scuba diving, snow skiing, water skiing, bungee jumping, etc.  Now, I am slightly more cautious.  Still like having a good time, but not willing to risk my life.

4) I am equally extroverted and introverted....love a great time with friends and family, also love a great time of reading a book by myself. (Don't get much "by myself time" these days.)

5) I love to find designer clothes at  bargain costs...clothes for my girls and for myself.  Not so much for Matt because he doesn't want to ever sport anything that remotely resembles designer clothes. =)

I now nominate my other Anne friend, Anne Smith, to take the hot seat.  Can't wait to read what five things you share about your sweet self!

7:00 pm at the Gaymon Household...

You will find Matt and I both getting "our girl" ready for bed (Matt's girl is Maggie and Mommy's girl is Kerri Grace).  Sometimes we switch it up for Matt to get some QT with Kerri Grace, and for me to get some sweet time with Maggie, but for the most part, we are doing our own thing with our own respective girl.  That is, until we tried out the joint bath.  Our lives will never be the same again...

She's So Silly!

I have so much fun hanging out with Maggie.  I just can't get over some of the silly and sweet things she says.

Yesterday, while Matt was getting Kerri Grace dressed, Maggie said, "Kerri Grace has tiny baby feet.  That's wonderful!"

She also thinks that the requirements for marriage is to kiss.  So, everytime she kisses someone (whether it is Mommy, Daddy, Granparents) she says, "We married!"

Today while playing in her kitchen, she all of a sudden stopped, closed her eyes, and said, "I love you, Jesus, because of cookies."  So precious!

Maggie doing her "Crazy Face" for the camera!

The list could go on and on, but I know it isn't as entertaining to those who are not family.  She's our little silly girl!

Having a Big Time With Little Friends!

Recently, we have had several fun play dates with friends!  We have loved it!  I am doing a long-term sub job in a few weeks so we have spent a whole lot of QT with our friends...I don't know if it's possible to store up on playdates, but we sure are giving it our best shot! =)  Here are some cute pictures of our good times:

Dinner with Ryan and his parents.

Lillian and her mommy came over for lunch.

Today, we had a very fun morning at the library...

What a fun surprise...Campbell and her mommy were there!

Scarf time!

Another sweet surprise...Ivey was there with her Emmy!

They loved the puppets!

Maggie enjoyed her Toddler Class!

Reese and Maggie listening to Dr. Suess.

Brooke was the cutest little "Bouncing Baby!"

Kerri Grace loved watching Maggie and Reese, and she and Brooke "played" together.  But, she was fast asleep by the time her class started.  Oh well, maybe next time!

I Heart My Valentine Cuties!

Mimi has done it again!  Here are my cuties in their adorable Valentine outfits my mom made them!

Kerri Grace can sit up!  Well, for a little bit of time, at least.
There is always a little trace of fear in Kerri Grace's eyes when Maggie has full access to her.
