A Sweet Bonus

We are thrilled that baby is doing so well, and that the ultrasounds have shown a healthy baby so far!

That being said, we found out a sweet little bonus the other day....

That's right!!!  It's a boy!!!  What a pleasant surprise!

 

I have to back up a little bit and explain why we had a gender ultrasound at 14/15 weeks...a little early for that.  Nana Sue and Mimi have said all along that we were having a boy.  I didn't think so because I really haven't felt very different from my pregnancies with the girls. 

 

At our 12 week ultrasound, the tech guessed boy, but she said that both boys and girls look very similar at that point.  Well, Mimi started calling him a boy.  Matt and I did not, and she got tired of our "unbelief" and calling him an "it." So funny!  So, she drove me to baby impressions a couple of days ago, and sure enough, there it was!!

 

It just goes to show that sometimes you have to trust Nana Sue and Mimi's gut feelings. 

Thanks, Mimi, for a fun outing.  The girls and I loved getting to see HIM on the big screen!

I am 13 1/2 weeks pregnant, and I am completely overwhelmed by that fact!!  The Lord has been so good to us!  He was good to us over the past year of loss, and now He has seen fit to bring us full circle!  Our entire family could not be more thrilled to welcome this little one into the World....around Valentine's Day!  Hooray!
