Tuesday night, Maggie went to her first dance lesson at Happy Feet Dance Studio. She was kind of into it....sometimes she would dance in front of me, sometimes sit in my lap, and she briefly danced with the other little girls. It pretty much went exactly the way I expected it to. Here are a couple of pictures:
Warning: These pictures contain a whole lot of adorable!
I would love to think that every single conversation that Maggie and I have has a dramatic impact (in a good way) on the condition of her heart. But, that simply is not true. This was what it went like yesterday....
Mommy: Let's go change your diaper. Maggie: Changin' Maggie's biper! Mommy: Ewwww....I got poopy on my shirt. Maggie: Grody Goodness Gracious Mommy!!
Maggie's Birthday was Monday, September 7th (Labor Day) when were at the lake. We didn't do too much at the lake except make cupcakes to take to school which started on Tuesday. She had such a great first day of school, and it was so fun to take in cupcakes in to celebrate!

On Friday we had her party, and boy did she have fun! The party centered around the FABULOUS swingset my parents bought Maggie for her birthday. Thank you, Mimi and Papa! So, a backyard party it was! Our family and several of Maggie's little friends came over to play. Maggie knew that it was all for her, and she didn't shy away from being the center of attention. She requested to have "Happy Birthday" sung twice complete with blowing out the candle twice. I absolutely loved watching her enjoy herself, and it made all of the work worth while. I love my sweet little two year old.
Is there really any other place to be on Labor Day? I think not! Matt, Maggie, Kerri Grace, and I headed with my family to my parents' lake house on Friday. We stayed through Monday evening, and we had such a fun time!!
We had a couple of groups of people come in and out which was great! We skied, tubed, played in Maggie's little pool, ate lots of delicious food, watched a movie every single night, and simply enjoyed being together.
An added bonus to the weekend...Kerri Grace slept until 4:00 or 5:00 every morning!! Now that's how you do it! I hope all of you had a fun and safe Labor Day!
This post is in honor of Andrew who has questioned our loyalty to the World of Blogs.=) We have been so busy with Maggie and Kerri Grace...both of whom have really easy girls. Maggie is such a sweet sister and Kerri Grace just a dream baby. BUT, I have really had to work hard to get a single thing done during the day. I try to keep Maggie entertained the majority of the time hoping that she won't notice she no longer has my undivided attention. One thing that has been a lifesaver is the pool we got Maggie for her backyard birthday party. Maggie loves to play in the water for hours on end. So, that is exactly what she has done. Here are a few pictures of her and her friends:
We are the Gaymons! Matt is Ashley's Prince Charming, possibly the funniest person on Earth, and such a wonderful dad! Ashley is wife, mommy, and part-time teacher. Maggie is our oldest. She is sweet, silly, and sensitive. Kerri Grace is our middle, and she is spunky and fun-loving! We have a baby boy named Oliver, and he is precious! We have two sweet glory babies in Heaven with Jesus! This blog is mostly about our daily happenings as we try to Glorify God on this journey...hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
