Spooktacular Day!!

After a long week of Matt traveling and me keeping the homefront somewhat under control, we decided to enjoy this rainy Halloween morning.  We did not sleep in due to our sweet-faced toddler walking in our room at 7:00 and stating, "Maggie done with her nap!"  But, in all actuality, getting up at 7:00 when you have two babies is such a blessing, but that's another post for another day.
We woke up and laid around for a while.  Then, around 10 o'clock, Matt made pancakes and eggs for breakfast.  Yummy!

Kerri Grace did get a bit of a work out in...we're having to work on those core muscles!

After our not so productive morning, Mimi and Papa came over and brought Maggie and Kerri Grace some fun Halloween surprises...books, candy, and monogrammed bibs.  And, Matt and I each got a box of diapers!!! So great to be spoiled by the grandparents!

Halloween Fun with Mimi and Papa!

Then, we headed out to have dinner with Nana Sue and Pal!  We ate some tasty food and went to Trunk or Treat at their church.  It was a quick jaunt but loads of fun!

Something sure is funny!

Trunk or Treat!

We wrapped up Halloween 2009 by visiting our wonderful neighbors... I say "we", but I had to take a tired Kerri Grace in to bath and get ready for bed.  Daddy and Maggie went trick-or-treating!

Happy Halloween 2009!  Hope it was a safe and fun night for all of you!

Cuteness Overload, For Sure!

Last night, Maggie's dance class had a Halloween party.  She had such a good time!  I thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the cutie pies trying to get their "tap tap" shoes going while in their adorable costumes!

Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy!

Maggie and Reese....so cute!
We had such a great time at Trunk or Treat!  Maggie thoroughly enjoyed herself.  It is so neat to see how much she grows from one year to the next.  I couldn't believe how much she loved the bounce house.  She was actually pretty adventurous in her jumping.  Go Maggie!

"Maggie's Friend"

Recently, Maggie has really enjoyed spending time with kids her age.  She prays for the kids in school, church, and dance.  In fact, sometimes we will be out and about, and she sees a child her age and calls them, "Maggie's friend."  Well, of course they would want to be her friend if they knew her!  At this point, I do not see even a vague sign of self esteem problems for our Maggie.

Here is a picture of Maggie swinging with one of her new friends, Reese.  Reese is a few months older than Maggie and she has an older sister.  So, she is a little bit quicker than Maggie.  I am hoping the next time we play with Reese, Maggie will put aside her cautious ways and "get goin!"  We'll see!

Where Does She Get This Stuff?

Maggie, Kerri Grace, Daddy, and Mommy all laying on the floor having a fun, relaxing time.....

Maggie:  Kerri Grace has a face.
Daddy: That's right.
Maggie: Mommy has a face.
Mommy: That's right.
Maggie: Daddy has a face.  Daddy has a circle face!
Mommy: Laughter
Daddy: That's right, too.

In other Gaymon household happenings: Kerri Grace rolled over today!  She was not enjoying her tummy time at all so she fixed that problem.

Never a dull moment!

My Pumpkins and the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday, Mom, Taylor, and I took the girls to the pumpkin patch.  Mom made them adorable shirts.  Below are some pictures of them in their shirts.  Maggie always LOVES the chance to hold her little sister.  Kerri Grace, however doesn't share those feelings yet.

Kerri Grace getting a little concerned about her safety.......

and then the terror sets in!

We had a fabulous time!  We ate at the Flat Rock Bakery and headed to Sky Top Orchard.  Maggie had such a good time (despite the fact that she is battling a sinus infection).  It was especially fun to have Aunt Tay with us.  Now, Maggie wakes up wanting to go to B and Tay's house.  She definitely loves her aunt and uncle.  Here are some pictures from our day:

It Pays to Have a Talented Mother/Mimi!

Mimi made Maggie yet another cute little something!  Here is a picture of Maggie packing up her dance bag that Mimi made her.  Thanks, Mimi!

"Higher, Mommy!"

Can you tell the girls didn't too much want another picture taken?

Once again, we had a great time in Litchfield with my parents!  Matt did reinjure his back which wasn't too fun for him.  But, Mimi, Papa, Maggie, Kerri Grace and I had to push forward.  We would prop up Matt with some ice and head out to the beach.  Hopefully, next time Matt can enjoy more golf and time on the beach.  Thanks for another great vacation, Mom and Dad!

Such a Big Girl!

Kerri Grace is growing so fast!  She is probably 9 1/2 - 10 lbs. now which doesn't seem really big...especially since I was 9 lbs. 5 oz. at birth!  But, since she started out as such a tiny little thing (5 lbs. 8 oz.), she is becoming a real oinker to us. =)  Kerri Grace is so unbelievably sweet and special.  We are so thankful for this little miracle!  Keep growing little one!
