Thirty, Flirty, and Thriving?

Yes, yes, and yes!  

Matt and I have officially gotten old!

I haven't really had a hard time with turning thirty. Those of you who really know me are shocked by that, I know. Putting a lot of value in the the things in life that should not be of importance has always been a gift of mine.  I would like to say that I have really matured and done some serious soul searching which has led me to the new place of peace and harmony with the aging process.  But, in all honesty, I think I have just been way too busy to even think twice about it.  I am glad.

Splishin' Splashin' Saturday

Well, to continue on with our busy but wonderful weekend....a recap of Saturday.  We all woke up later than usual.  Our little prompt alarm clock, Maggie, decided to sleep until 8:30!  It was wonderful!  But, it made packing up for a day at the lake a little bit rushed.  We were fed, dressed, packed up, and out the door by 9:30.  Off to the lake, we went!
We had a wonderful day with Mimi & Papa, Uncle Mitch & Aunt Debbie, Nana & Pal, Juleah Rose, and our new friend, Chelsea!  We did all of the usual lake fun...that really never gets old!  Even Matt (who was never really much of a lake person before marrying me) is starting to love our frequent trips to the lake for time with family and friends.  That's right!  I've officially converted him!

Fantastic Friday Frenzy

I admit it... my girls and I are busy (and yes, maybe too busy)!  But, we wouldn't have it any other way!

This past Friday was a hectic day of rushing to pick out a shower and countertop, a play date with some very dear friends of mine from high school, an abreviated nap, and a visit with the birthday girl, my wonderful 92-year-old grandmother.  We had a blast at all the stops along the way!
