Outdoor Fun

Last Sunday, we enjoyed a picnic with Matt's company!  It was a gorgeous day and lots of fun!
Choo!  Choo!  I love Kerri Grace's expression in this picture!

Playground!

Kerri Grace apparently loves the taste of play mulch.

Face painted like EB!

Kerri Grace still likes a hand when walking longer distances.

"Du, Du, Du"

Miss Cheeto Face was all worn out from her fun.

Today, we continued our yard work adventures....

I actually saw this at one point:

 That's right....T-bird operating the tractor!!

Then, after naps, we left the girls' pants off for a breather. =)

I kept saying that we needed to put pantless Maggie and Kerri Grace in front of the tractor to take our Christmas Card picture!   The closing would be From, The Classy Gaymons.

Hope that all of you are enjoying these beautiful Fall Days!

Funny People are Awesome!

Be sure and pause the playlist to the right....you don't want to miss this!

Matt and I went to Samford with Tyler Stanton.  I didn't know him, but based on his hilariousness in this video, I really wish I had!  Oh....Chris Tomlin is also in this video.  Check it out:

May-Lan Fun!

Saturday morning, Tracy, Aiden, Maggie, and I went to May-Lan Farm to have some pumpkin fun!  I was very impressed with all of cute little things that May-Lan had to offer.  I have to admit that I was skeptical since I have always been a loyal Treetop visitor.  But, May-Lan was fun and closer!

*Side Note:  I only have four more weeks of full time work!!  While I am very excited about that, my sweet friend, Tracy, has been one of my favorite parts of going to work everyday!  She teaches two doors down, and she is the best!*

Moved In!

Not settled or even close to being cozy, but we are are glad to be in!  Our new house is so great and perfect for us.  Our new neighborhood is amazing!  We are so blessed!

These past four weeks have been unbelievably busy and stressful.  I have been working full time, we have been living with my parents, trying to finish up renovations, and move all of our things in.  Most of the stress has been good stress, but none-the-less, I am so thankful that there is an end in sight.

To celebrate our first weekend in our house, the girls decided to get colds...yuck!  It has been trying to say the least.  But, we know that things will get better.  Here are a few pictures from our first Saturday with just our little family of four:

Our new house...yay!

We have already taken a couple of walks / bike rides down our street!

The yard is still in the demolition phase.

Maggie loves watching Daddy rip apart the yard!

Ain't No Party, Like a Three-Year-Old Art Party!

Cause a Three-Year-Old Art Party Don't Stop!

Maggie had a blast at her Third Birthday Party! She requested a Play-doh party, but I figured that would get boring very quickly with three-year-olds. So, we decided to use her idea and add a little bit extra. After a bit of brainstorming, we decided on an Art Theme. It was perfect for my little artist!  We had stations set up in the backyard. The options were Play-doh, finger painting, sidewalk chalk, marker magic, sand sculpting, or acrobatics (aka "the swings").  I think that Maggie (and most of her friends) visited each of the stations at least twice.  It was so cute watching them play so hard!

We were disappointed that a few of Maggie's friends couldn't make it, but we had a pretty good turn-out. Maggie (being the social butterfly that she is) was overjoyed to have some quality time with her sweet little friends. Happy Birthday, Maggie!

Let's Hear it for the Birthday Girl!

M is for musical!  This girl loves to sing, dance, and listen to all kinds of music.
A is for affectionate.
G is for girlie girl who doesn't like to get dirty.
G is for great big sister!
I is for independent (when she wants to be)!
E is for entertaining...and that is an understatement.  She if full of stories, faces, and silliness!!

We are so thankful for you, Magpie!  Happy Third Birthday!  WE LOVE YOU SO BIG!

For Maggie's Birthday Day Celebration, we went to Mr. Salsa per her request.  We had a fun time!

What's a Mostly Stay-at-Home Mom To Do?

Next Tuesday starts up another long-term substituting job for me which is such a blessing in so many ways.  However, my wardrobe is very limited when it comes to teaching attire.  While staying home with the girls, I am fine to rotate the same few shorts and sleeveless tops around.  After all, I rarely see the same adults day after day, and my girls think I look cute no matter what I have on.

Recently, I did buy a new pair of trendier jeans (a pair of Real Straight Jeans when they are on sale at the Gap)! I love them because they are more stylish and they do not highlight my hips as much as the Skinny Jean.  Now, what do I do about the rest of my wardrobe?

I plan on heading out this weekend and trying to find some deals.  Any advice on where I should go?  Are there any additional promotions going on?  If you have any tips, please leave a comment!

I only have a few criteria for my shopping adventures:
a.  First and foremost, I do not want to spend a whole lot.
b.  I need to buy petites.
c.  I want to buy cute, stylish, and age appropriate (not teeny-bopper but not too matronly).
d.  I need items I can mix and match.
Is that too much to ask?

So all of you bargain finders out there, please fill me in on your plans for this Labor Day weekend of Sales!
