Kimberly's Shower

My sister-in-law, Kimberly, is getting married on July 12th. We celebrated this past weekend by giving her a recipe/kitchen shower. We all had a good time visiting and showering Kim with presents. Yea for love, marriage, and good times with friends!

Prayer Request for Daniel

If you don't mind, when you are having your prayer time, please mention my cousin to the Lord. His name is Daniel, and he is having bypass surgery next week. Pray that God will guide the surgeons hands, and that Daniel will be healed and as good as new. Also, pray for strength for his wife and little boy. Thanks so much!

Best Friends!

Maggie and Campbell will be best friends! Lauren, Campbell's mom, and I have been best friends since middle school. We figured that it is only appropriate to prearrange a best friendship between our girls. We will see how it goes. Judging from their interest in eachother the other day, our plan is going to work out just beautifully. They were so cute smiling and trying to grab eachother! Here are a couple of pics:

Destined to be a Professional Wrestler?

I hope not! But, this worm/caterpillar/snake didn't stand a chance!

Sunday is Not a Day of Rest for Maggie!

Today, Maggie had a great time sliding and rolling. She hasn't figured out how to propel herself forward, but she does a great job of pushing herself backwards on the hardwood floors. Here are some of the areas she covered today.

What to Do, What to Do......

This past week or so, Maggie has been waking up at six o'clock instead of her usual seven. Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful that Maggie is a good sleeper. I realize that sleeping 7:30 to 6:00 is very good. But, I can't figure her out. I don't know if she is waking herself up wanting some company (which I do not give her until about 6:40), or if her teeth are bothering her, or what. When I was rubbing orajel on her gums, I felt two more teeth poking through her top gums. Could this have been the culprit? I am fine getting up at six. This is not a problem in the grand scheme of things. But, if you have any tips about how to gear her back towards a seven o'clock wake up time, please share! It would be fun for me to go back to our original time.

Here is a funny picture of Maggie fussing. Take note of her two bottom teeth. I think they are so cute. Maggie would probably disagree since she doesn't particularly enjoy the teething process. =)
