If A=B and B=C....

My ten month old bundle of sweetness, Kerri Grace, has not been herself recently.  She has been a little bit more fussy.  Also, she has been waking up a good bit during the night (and she has been sleeping from 8:00-7:00 since three months of age).  Kerri Grace has been drooling for what seems like an eternity. She has been making a lot of these faces...

And yet, I was still a little bit surprised a couple of weeks ago, when I spotted this...

Her very first tooth which was soon followed by the eruption of her second tooth.  Way to go, Kerri Grace!

So now, one of the two cutest little girls has gotten even cuter...and they said it couldn't be done!

Potty Training!

We haven't really been working hard on potty training, but we are about to start....duh, duh, duh!  So, in honor of my stubborn streak that seems to have been passed on to my sweet little Magpie, here is a fun video of what is in store for the Gaymon family:

My, How Times Have Changed!

When Maggie was an infant, she had a little bit of a colicky phase, and it always seemed that she was EXTREMELY fussy the minute Matt walked in the door.   When he would call during the day, I would promise him that she was having such a great day, and that she was very content.  Then, it would never fail, the minute he walked in the door, the flood gates would open.

Yesterday, I called Matt around 6:00 (He has had to work late this week), and told him that we were unraveling....not that it would change the time he got home, but it just helps to let your spouse know how much you are suffering.=)  Kerri Grace and I have been fighting a cold so by the end of the day, we were both tired of feeling bad.  I think Maggie was really tired of hanging out with the sick girls.  I had started dinner so Maggie decided to test all the bounderies, and Kerri Grace did not want to be put down for a second.  Finally, I had dinner made, and both girls were eating and pretty happy.  So, in walks Daddy!!!  Both girls lit up with complete joy!  They were both done eating in a matter of minutes, were sitting on the floor, silently playing their own individual games, and Matt and I were having a quiet dinner.  Hmmmm....Matt laughed as I explained to him that we really were having kind of a rotten late afternoon.  Oh well.  I will take this over the prior any day!

May Beach Trip!!

We are wrapping up our beach trip, and boy, have we had fun!!  Nana Sue, Pal, Aunt Kim, Uncle Mark, and Gavin were all able to make it to the beach this year.  We dug in the sand, played in the ocean, enjoyed the wonderful water park, took a trip to the Aquarium, ate dinner in and out, and enjoyed lots of good QT with family.  The only thing that could have made this trip more spectacular would be if Aunt Kerri and Uncle Brian could have been here.  We look forward to spending time with them next time, for sure!

It's Her Party and She'll Cry if She Wants To!

Kerri Grace and I went to our friend, Brooke's, First Birthday Party!! It was such a cute party, and the little babies had such a great time!! That is, until the mommies made them line up and take a group shot. This was the progression of things...

At least they still look adorable when they are crying. =)
