Thankful for the Bright Side!

I don't always look at the bright side of things, but I do a lot of times. I am thankful for that personality trait while in the midst of grief. So, here is (part of) the bright side of my life right now.....

1. My sweet Savior who loves me so much and has a bigger and better plan than any of us can comprehend.

2. My Man. He is so, so good to me. He is intentional about leading and loving our family. He still holds my hand and will prop his arm on the chair behind me in church (which if you know Matt, that is the equivalent of making out in church.=))

3. My Maggie. She has the most tender heart. She takes care of her sister and loves her even when Kerri Grace is being a somewhat hard to love two-year-old.

4. My Kerri Grace. She speaks my love language. She gives kisses and hugs freely and often. She daily blurts out, "I wuv you so bery, bery much, Mommy!"

5. I am a project person and I get twice as much done while I am trying to process emotionally rocky seasons. So, since we moved in our house just over a year ago, and we have lost two babies since then, I have gotten a TON done as far as decorating (with the help of my family who has been generous with their time and hand-me-down furniture and local consignment stores)! I will definitely post more pictures soon, but here is a glimpse of the tree I painted in Kerri Grace's big girl room.

So, here's to looking at the bright side of things and the beginning of my "Thanksgiving Thankful List!" I pray that you can find the bright side of your life today, too!!

Proud to call you friend...and sister in Christ. I am so, so sorry for your pain and loss. As Hagar says in Genesis 13; "He is the God who sees". He sees you and your pain. He is near.

Love you, friend.
