Maggie has seven teeth! She only had two a few weeks ago. So, she is really pulling at her ears, and she has had a bit of "the runs" the last couple of days. Through it all, she has not been fussy or been waking up during the night. Are these really symptoms of getting more teeth? I thought I would call the doctor if she isn't better in the morning, but I was curious if any of you had any personal experiences you might want to share on the matter?
We went to Myrtle Beach this past week and had a fabulous time! The first part of the week, the Weavers came and stayed with us. Lila and Maggie thoroughly enjoyed their time together. I think that they will only have more and more fun as they get older. Right now, Mags is a little slow for Lila who has discovered the wonderful world of walking and talking. Way to go, Lila! Maggie loved the water! From the moment we put her in the water, she knew what to do. She was so cute kicking away and loving every minute of it. At one point, we had a crowd of onlookers who were very impressed with her skills. One lady even asked if she had taken swimming lessons! That's right...she is an Olympian in the making! Be sure to take a look at the video clip. This wasn't her best moment of swimming, but it was the best that we documented. Then, Aunt Kerri came down and we had some more fun with everyone there. Matt and I even got to go out on a date! That was so sweet of Kerri to give up her night so that we could go out...thanks, Kerri! Then, it was time for Maggie to go home with her Daddy. Matt braved the drive all by himself (well, he was the only adult.) Maggie did really well, and Matt said she was perfect. Kerri and I enjoyed a couple of days with just us girls. It was wonderful to have a little bit of time to just relax. Although, as much fun as it was, I was ready to get back to see my Magpie!
Today has been such a fun day. Maggie had a nice long nap this morning, and woke up ready to go visit with her friend, Campbell. We met Lauren and Campbell at Rolly Polly. It was good food and a great time with friends. The more Maggie and Campbell are together, the more I think that they are definitely destined to have the same kind of close friendship that Lauren and I have. I hope so.
Then, Maggie and I dropped by to see some friends at Crestview. Although Maggie was getting tired, she was tough. It is so fun now that Maggie is old enough to take her out places. She doesn't get bored nearly as quickly, and it gives me plenty of time to show her off. =) Mags and I are becoming such a great team!

We went my family to the BMW Pro-Am at Thornblade today. Although I am not a huge golf fan, it was fun! Maggie got a golf ball from one of the players. She was not really all that impressed, but I thought it was sweet of him. She mainly just wanted to suck on the ball. After about an hour out on the course, Maggie came back with her Mimi and took a nap. The rest of us came back a little while later and found Maggie enjoying her Coke (Aunt Kim, she is taking after you!) It was a great afternoon. Family Pic Right After Maggie Got Her Golf Ball Dad, Bradley, and Taylor Mimi and Maggie This Ball is Yummy! Nothing beats the Classic!
One of Maggie's favorite drinks....water! That's right, good ol' H2O! It is kind of funny how excited she gets when she has a sippy cup full of water waiting on her. Here are some pics for you to see what I am talking about. Doesn't she look happy/sneaky?
Maggie is pushing up on her knees. She still depends mainly on rolling and scooting backwards to get places. But, I think she looks so cute when she gets up on her hands and knees and sways. Then, she plunges forward because she hasn't learned how to move her hands one at a time. Good try, Mags!
A few of my friends from Samford came to have lunch with me (and Mags). It was so fun to see them again. And, it was fun to meet their baby girls. We all have babies that are under the age of one, and they are all girls. That made our time together all the more special. We, of course, had to get a little bit of advice from Lyndie who has two girls. She is a pro! We had a great time visiting and talking about being moms. And, I think that the babies had a good time visiting, too. Maggie and Emma Keiran and her sweet baby, Reilly Lyndie holding Abby's baby, Megan. I am such a bad photographer. I didn't even get a picture of Abby holding her own baby. I'll have to do that next time.
We are the Gaymons! Matt is Ashley's Prince Charming, possibly the funniest person on Earth, and such a wonderful dad! Ashley is wife, mommy, and part-time teacher. Maggie is our oldest. She is sweet, silly, and sensitive. Kerri Grace is our middle, and she is spunky and fun-loving! We have a baby boy named Oliver, and he is precious! We have two sweet glory babies in Heaven with Jesus! This blog is mostly about our daily happenings as we try to Glorify God on this journey...hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
